Kangaroo Point Rovers says a big thank you to all the families, players, and friends that attended the Pre-Season Mixer on Saturday.

Your support to the club helped raise $1,500 which will be used to help fund the purchase of removable goal posts.

In an otherwise successful night (despite 2mins of crazy rain), Tara Leighton the organiser ensured that plenty of fun was had, with small sided soccer games, the now nefarious Wii Tennis Challenge, Delicious BBQ, and the unknown Slushie that was on offer.

It was a great chance to meet players in the other teams, as well as the new faces in your own team, and will ensure that each team is a close knit bunch that will strive for glory in the upcoming season.

Rumours are abounding that all 4 teams predict they have the quality player roster to take Football Brisbane by storm.
