KPR 1sts v Taringa Prem Reserves

A confident KPR went into its second round clash against Taring rovers weary of ther rivals much higher status in the league and their reputation for playing good football. Both teams started brightly with KPR controling the early stages of the game. KPR were at almost full strength with only the ruggard Piers Euler missing, with Kenny Dowdall standing in for him in defence. The early pressure paid off with a well worked goal to Josh O'Grady taking his tally to 3 from two games.

The second part of the half belonged to Taringa, with their midfield pushing hard they were unlucky not to equalise hitting the bar and making KPR keeper Dale Billett the buiser of the two keepers. 1-0 KPR half time.

The second half started much the same with the rovers dominating and having some chances to put the game away. The best chance fell to Kieron O'Connor and Jack but were unable to be converted. Taringa slowlel came back in to the match and with tireing KPR legs made some good opportunities for themselves with poor finishing letting them down. However in the last minute of added time Taring were awarded a penalty and was converted bring ing the scores level at 1-1. With the last kick of the game Taringa converted a corner into another scrambled goal to take the game from KPR 2-1.
