Match Reports
KPR 1st Grade v Annerley
In what was the final game of the pre-season tournament KPR went into the match looking to improve on their last start. The match started well with both sides moving the ball around. KPR were hampered with the early substitution of Luke MArtin due to a thigh complaint. Both sides pressed on and from a seemingly easy throw out from goal a mix up occured and annerley pounced, 1-0. THe rest of the half was scrappy to say the least.
Annerley extended their lead further when another mix up at the back lead to a second goal for the men in blue to take a half time lead 2-0.
The second half saw the introduction of Josh O'grady and he immideatly changed the game with power running and good shooting. That good shooting paid off with a easy tap in for his 4th of the season. KPR 1-2 down. With numerous chances in attack and a tightning of of the defence KPR had chance to force thier way back into the game, but were unable to do so. Annerley taking the game 2-1 winners.
